James Dale Clise, age 90, of Westminster, died peacefully in the early morning of September 30, 2017, at Lorien Taneytown. Born in Piedmont, West Virginia on March 7, 1927, he was the son of the late James Upton and Elsie Christina (Ours) Clise. He was predeceased by Jean Borror Clise, his wife of 59 years, who died in 2004. He is survived by brother Donald Clise of Romney, West Virginia; daughter Jennifer Munch of Westminster; daughters and sons-in law Veronica "Ronnie" (Larry) Bohn of Woodbine, and Sarah (Rick) Sampson of Rancho Santa Margarita, California; son Dr. Keith Clise of Commerce City, Colorado; son and daughter-in-law Christopher (Andie) Clise of Westminster; grandson and wife Matthew Clise and Kirstin Bowers of Westminster; grandson Griffin Snyder of California; granddaughters Nicole Holly of Utah, Alyssa Clise and Olivia Clise of Colorado, Logan Snyder of California and Alix Clise of Westminster; two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and his faithful Yorkie "Buddy". His family will receive visitors at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster on Tuesday, October 3rd from 6-8 pm. Services and interment will be held privately in Headsville, West Virginia.
