James Edward "Cowboy" Calp Jr., 42, of Hampstead, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at home.

Born Feb. 14, 1971, in Hanover, Pa., he was the son of Patricia Ann Hetrick Calp and companion Bruce Davidson, and James E. Calp Sr. and wife Mary.

He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, fishing and 10-pin bowling.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are sons Wyatt Calp and Cage Calp; stepchildren Ian Arthur and Alexa Arthur; and former spouse Sandra Robinson.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until time of funeral service, 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester. A private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory & Chapel in Manchester, and interment will be private.
