USAF MSgt Retired James Thomas Hymiller, 75, of Wesley Chapel, Fl. passed away May15, 2017. He was born March 30, 1942, in Hanover, Pa. Jim was a 1959 graduate of Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown, Pa. After graduation, he served 3 years in the US Army, and 17 years in the US Air Force. He married the former Carole Pautenis of Littlestown, Pa. in 1968. Jim was stationed at different bases all over the US and also in England and Australia. While stationed in Europe, he enjoyed exploring castles, church ruins, etc. After retiring in the 1980's, Jim and Carole settled in the Tampa Bay, Fl. area. He and Carole have been avid Steelers fans, enjoyed going to the movies, spending time with their grandchildren, their dogs over the years, as well as family and friends. He took full advantage of retirement, taking small trips all around Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kemp and Helen Smith Hymiller. He is survived by his loving wife, Carole, one son, Jimmy and wife Kim Hymiller; daughter, Rebecca Hymiller-Mercer; daughter, Deborah and husband John Perfect; grandchildren: Jacqueline, Eric, Colton, James, Connor, and Josiah, all of Wesley Chapel, Fl. He is also survived by a sister Joyce and husband Edward Dell, of Littlestown, Pa. as well as extended family and friends. A funeral service took place at 2 PM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O' Lakes Blvd., Land O' Lakes, Florida, 34634, contact Dawn Cox, 813-996-6610. Interment will take place at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl.
