James William "Bill" Dell Jr., 94, of Westminster, formerly of Granite, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster.

Born Sept. 8, 1919, in Granite, he was the son of the late James William Dell Sr. and Cenia Hartman Dell. He was the husband of the late Edna Sill Dell, his wife of 68 years.

He was a farmer for all of his life and had been a school bus driver for many years. He served as an election judge for Baltimore County in Granite for more than 50 years.

He was a member of Wards Chapel United Methodist Church in Randallstown. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Wayne and Marty Dell, of Granite, James William Dell III and Betty Lou Dell, of Littlestown, Pa., Charles W. and Kathy Dell, of Finksburg; daughter and son-in-law Wayne and Pauline Reisberg, of Marriottsville; grandchildren Mary Mitchell, Susan, David, Karen, James William IV, Jason W., Daniel W. and Katie Dell, Wayne Richard Reisberg and Wendy Miller; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by siblings John Henry Dell, Emma Trail, Pearl Trott, Irene Staubitz and Dorothy Dell; a daughter-in-law, Joanna Dell; and a granddaughter, Brenda Lynne Dell.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wards Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Randallstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Wards Chapel UMC Building Fund, 11023 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133.
