Janet G. Boyd, 75, of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, formerly of Eldersburg, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at her home. Born July 24, 1942 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Harry S. and Charlotte M. Dailey Davis. She was the wife of the late William J. Boyd who died March 13, 2015. They had been married for 49 years. She was also predeceased by her best friend of 65 years, Marian Eusini. Prior to retirement she had worked as a credit and collections manager for Clean Harbors of Baltimore. She attended Seton High School and graduated in 1960. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Baltimore graduating in 1964. She was the last of her immediate family. Janet took great pride in her grandchildren, teaching them her specialties in gardening and cooking and playing chess with Bruce. She attended Bruce's soccer games, Katie's field hockey and volleyball games and Janet's gymnastics competitions over the years. She enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City with her best friend, Marian Eusini, looking at Facebook and Pinterest, making lunch for her daughter and son-in-law everyday and snacks for the grandchildren when they got home from school, watching her Netflix movies, listening to Elvis, caring for the twin kittens she adopted 2 years ago, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. We will miss her beyond words.
