Janet Lee Wolbert, 65, of Upperco, died Saturday Sept. 28, 2013, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Born June 27, 1948, in Glyndon, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Geneva Wade Hamby. She was the wife of Allen L. Wolbert, her husband of 50 years.

She had worked for both Maryland Cup and Black & Decker. She enjoyed playing bingo and attending yard sales.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Kenneth A. Wolbert, of Upperco; daughter Toni M. Wolbert and husband Allen Merryman, of Reisterstown; brothers Paul, Christopher and Robert Hamby, all of Glyndon, David Hamby, of Parkersburg, W.Va., Ronald Hamby, of York, Pa., and Daniel Hamby, of Emmitsburg; a sister, Malinda Brady, of Baltimore; a granddaughter, Ashley Wolbert; and grandsons Timothy and Cody Wolbert.

She was predeceased by a son, Vernon Wolbert.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Sulcer officiating. Interment will be in Emory United Methodist Cemetery in Upperco.
