Janon Marshall "Chick" Chilcoat, 78, of Glyndon, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at home.

Born Oct. 25, 1934, in Baltimore County, he was the son of the late Carolton B. Chilcoat and Janet McKinney Chilcoat.

He served honorably during the Korean War with the Marines. He was a manager for American Tote. He was a member of the American Legion Post 116 in Reisterstown, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Reisterstown Moose.

Surviving are son Janon Mark Chilcoat; grandchildren Andrew and Michael Chilcoat; and sister-in-law Georgia Chilcoat.

He was predeceased by a brother, Doug Chilcoat.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
