Jeffrey Allen Cote, 31, of Fairfield, PA, died Thursday October 30, 2014, at home surrounded by his loving family, after a long struggle with brain cancer. Born August 16, 1983 in Washington, D.C. he was the son of Lisa Stonesifer Myers and husband Bill of Fairfield, PA, and Michael J. Cote and wife Linda of New Windsor. He worked in the family business as a HVAC apprentice before his illness. He enjoyed fishing and held the Jr. Bass Maryland Championship as a youth. He graduated from Westminster High School. His godparents are Buddy Stonesifer and June Romeo. Besides his parents he is survived by a sister Heidi Myers of Fairfield, PA, brothers Tommy Myers of Fairfield, PA, and Matthew Cote of New Windsor, two nieces Sarah Condon and Heartlee Myers, maternal grandparents Roy and Betty Stonesifer of Westminster, paternal grandmother Pauline Cote of Fitchburg, MA. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Eric Lee Cote, a niece Tally A. Cote, grandparents Marcel Cote and Pete and Jane Myers, and cousin Jon Haines. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St. Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Morehead Memorial Cemetery in Union Mills.
