Jeffrey Andrew White, 57, of Clarksburg, Maryland, passed away on Friday December 19, 2014 at The University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Born May 16, 1957 in Yonkers, NY, the son of the late Kenneth W and Betty A. White. He was the beloved husband of Minnie B. White for 12 years and the devoted and proud father to son Jeffrey A. and daughter Lilliana M. White.

Jeffrey grew up on Long Island, New York and attended the Glen Cove, New York school system. After he finished his freshman year at Glen Cove High School he moved to Maryland and attended Thomas S. Wooten High School in Rockville, Maryland. He was a member of the high school graduating class of 1975. After high school, Jeffrey attended classes at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. He graduated with an AA degree in Math/Science and Business Administration. Jeffrey furthered his education by completing numerous IT classes at the University of Maryland. In the early 1980s he attended Control Data Institute to pursue additional training in the field of Computer Technology. He worked for several IT Companies from 1985 to1996 as a Field Service and Network Engineer. Jeffrey worked from 1996 to 2012 for CompuCom Systems, Inc as a Certified Computer Technician, Trainer, Administrator and Network Engineer. While working at CompuCom, he achieved numerous certifications in computer hardware, software, printers and networking.

During the early 1970s Jeffrey started Motocross racing in Maryland's AMA District 7 with some of his close Wooten High School friends. He gained a passion for Motocross racing and raced in many AMA sanctioned Motocross events from the early 1970s through the mid 1980s. He participated in races held in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida and other states. His brother, Craig, often accompanied him to these Motocross races acting as both driver and motorcycle mechanic. Jeffrey established and maintained close friendships over the years with many of his fellow Motocross racers. He received numerous multi-state awards and trophies over his fourteen years of Motocross racing. Jeffrey also maintained close friendships from the Long Island, New York and Maryland areas where he grew up.

Another favorite outdoor sport of Jeffrey's was snow skiing. He was a very accomplished skier and enjoyed taking skiing vacations to challenging ski resorts out west but was truly happy when he was skiing at the local eastern ski resorts with his close friends, wife Minnie and his children. When he and his family weren't skiing in the winter months you could find them having fun going down the tube runs at the ski resorts.

Jeffrey's other interests and hobbies included: swimming, scuba diving, golf, boating, water skiing, football, tennis, auto racing, motorcycle and automobile mechanics.

Jeffrey had many accomplishments but the accomplishments of his children brought him the most joy. He supported his son Jeffrey and daughter Lilliana in all their activities. Nothing made him more proud then seeing his son Jeffrey compete in local swim meet competitions; excel at snow skiing and playing the piano; and earning excellent grades at school. Watching his daughter Lilliana learning to swim and participating in gymnastics and ballet would always bring a smile to his face.

Jeffrey is survived by brother James A and wife Carolanne of San Clemente, California; brother Kenneth M and wife Angelika S of Frederick, Maryland and brother Craig W and wife Margaret R of Eldersburg, Maryland. Nieces, nephews, cousins and scores of friends from the New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC area survive him. Jeffrey was a very special husband, father, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Services were held at Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home in Ellicott City. Interment will be private.
