Jeremy Ryan Robinson, 38, of Westminster, died suddenly on October 31, 2014 at his home. Born September 13, 1976 in Carroll County, he was the son of Scott M. Robinson and wife Patti J. Robinson of Westminster and Linda Nerim Ciliberti and husband Tony Ciliberti of Severna Park. Jeremy was a graduate of Westminster High School in 1994.¿ From there he attended college at Carson-Newman in Jefferson City, Tennessee where he pitched for the Eagle's baseball team. As a kid, Jeremy played for the 1989 Westminster Optimist little league state champions.¿ This opportunity inspired his dream of playing professional baseball. In the year 2000, his dream became a reality when he was recruited to play for the Richmond Rooster's minor league baseball team.¿ He went on to obtain his Master's degree in education at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD.¿ He used his talents to teach Elementary and Middle school students in the Carroll County Public School system for 14 years.¿ He also enjoyed coaching baseball at Winters Mill and North Carroll High School. He was an active member of New Hope Fellowship church where he led youth group for several years and participated in three mission trips to Honduras.¿ He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Surviving in addition to his parents and their spouses is son Joshua Ryan Robinson of Westminster; siblings and spouses Shelly Pearre and husband Greg, Lyndi Lee Faulkner and husband Robert, David Robinson and wife Caroline, Brooke Harper and husband Ryan and Joseph Robinson;grandmothers Jeanne Nerim and Patricia Abrecht and husband George; 16 nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Kenneth Nerim, Shirley and Francis Robinson, Edward Lee Poist, Sr. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am at Crossroads Community Church, 895 Leidy Rd., Westminster with Pastor William Rumbaugh of New Hope Fellowship Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park in Eldersburg.
