Joann Vincentia Sobotka, 74, of Hampstead, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, at home.

Born Oct. 4, 1937, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernice Tomalski Sobotka.

Prior to retirement, she had worked as the office manager of the of Greater Maryland in Timonium.

She enjoyed the Baltimore Ravens, reading legal thrillers and painting.

Surviving are sons Michael R. Wolinski, of Manchester, Paul Wolinski, of Parkton, and Ted Wolinski, of Virginia; daughters Jeannette Heagy, of Littlestown, Pa., Susan Paul, of Belcamp, Mary Hillenbrandt, of Gettysburg, Pa., and Tracy E. DiBerardino, of Crofton; a brother, Dr. Thomas Sobotka, of Silver Spring; and 15 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service, 1 p.m. Friday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead.
