John J. Imbornoni, 82, of New Windsor, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at the Golden Living Center. Born Nov. 19, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Herbert Imbornoni and Lillian Breen Imbornoni. Before retiring, he was an Aeronautical Engineer. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed going to the Westminster Senior Center, spending time with his family, watching sports on TV and his dog, Pepper. He is survived by three daughters Ann Marie Imbornoni of New Haven, Conn., Meg Verni and Elisebeth Roberts, both of Marshfield, Mass., a brother Herbert Imbornoni of Freehold, NJ, sister and brother-in-law; whom he lived with in New Windsor, Susan and Henry Lysy, nephews Henry and Chris Lysy and a niece Kate Wadsley. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westminster Senior Center, 125 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157. Arrangements by Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services in Westminster.
