John R. Myers Sr., 70, of Hanover, Pa., died early Tuesday morning, Jan. 8, 2013, at home.
Born Sept. 30, 1942, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John Leroy and Elizabeth James Myers. He was the husband of Carol E. Myers, his wife of 16 years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are sons David L. Myers, of Taneytown, and John R. Myers Jr., of Middle River; a stepson, Jonas Lindlaw, of Pasadena; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a step great-grandchild; and siblings Paul Myers and Elizabeth Myers, both of Baltimore.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of a memorial service, 2 p.m. Saturday at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown, Pa., with Robert Ruhlman officiating.
