John "Dutch" Wayne Poole, 75, of Manchester, passed away on October 22, 2015 at the Dove House Hospice in Westminster, MD. Born March 3, 1940 in Hampstead, MD, he was the son of the late John and Alda (Hensley) Poole. Dutch served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Dutch worked for over 35 years as a supervisor and construction engineer, building bridges and roads for the state of Maryland. He was a member of American Legion Post #200 and Moose Lodge #1381 of Westminster. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his loving wife Barbara J. Poole of Manchester, MD; two Brothers: Ronald Lee & Dorothy Poole of Hampstead, MD, Louis Eugene Poole of Finksburg, MD; three nieces: Sharon Lipford, Debra Miller, Corey Saylor. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct 24, 2015, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Eline Funeral Home, Hampstead, MD, followed by a celebration of his life at 11:00 am. Private family interment.
