Joseph Michael "Mike" Bellak, Jr., 67, of New Windsor, MD, died Friday, April 10, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center. Born June 12, 1947 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Anne (Artinian) Bellak and Joseph Michael Bellak, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sylvia C. Bellak. He was employed in the communications field in training the military with satellite technology. He was a veteran of the Navy and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed being a Disc Jockey know as "RedDog", enjoyed drawing portraits, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Amy Bellak-Dillon and husband Gene of Alachua, FL, Sara Bellak of Gainesville, FL, Janice Johnson of Pasadena, MD and Amy Valenstein and husband Keith of Halethorpe, MD, a brother David Bellak, sisters JoAnn Bellak and Susan Ruggiero, all of Virginia, grandchildren William Johnson, IV, Megan Harmon-Valenstein and Hunter Harmon-Valenstein. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Interment will follow in Har Sinai Cemetery in Owings Mills.
