Joseph Dominick Caprarola, 90, of Westminster, formerly of Union Bridge, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Westminster Ridge. Born May 23, 1924 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Domenick Caprarola and Angelina DiSalva Caprarola. He was the husband of the late Doris E. "Dottie" Caprarola, his wife of 67 years. Before retiring, he was the owner of the Union Bridge Clothing Co. He served in the Army during World War II. He had a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Loyola College of Baltimore, was a member of the VFW Molleville Farm Post No. 467, the Westminster Ridge Garden Club, Knights of the Square Table and ROMEO Club at Westminster Ridge, and was a Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. He enjoyed his family and friends at Westminster Ridge, spending time with his friend June Brenneman, and his family home in Ocean City, MD. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Dana A. and Norman Hall of Glens Falls, NY, sons and daughter-in-laws Drew J. and Paula A. (Koontz) Caprarola of Frederick, Joseph R. and Julie Caprarola of Westminster, Stephen D. and Myra J. Caprarola of Taneytown, Mark D. and Kim Caprarola of Westminster, Paul J. and Kathy A. Caprarola of Taneytown and Domenick M. and T. Elaine Caprarola of Silver Run, a sister Alverta Boslego and husband Joseph of Baltimore, 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Stephanie "Steph" L. Caprarola and grandsons Ryan, Zachary and Collin M. Caprarola. Services and interment will be private.
