Joshua Andrew Lindenmuth, 40, of York, PA passed away peacefully at his residence on May 11th in the afternoon surrounded by family. After growing up in York, PA, Josh graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University where he met the love of his life - his wife Angela R. (Payne) Lindenmuth, who has been his rock for over 20 years and has taught him to be eternally optimistic about the future. Josh spent the past 12 years working as the Chief Information Officer at Payce, Inc. in Towson MD, where he and a gifted technology team created leading edge online payroll software. Josh enjoyed running and rock climbing. Over the past year, he found God, became a Christian, and was baptized. He felt that this unexpected transformation was one of the reasons that his cancer journey was a positive one. Josh is survived by his two amazing sons, Justin and Carter, his caring brother Jake, who he felt to be an incredibly positive influence, Jake's wife Erin, their sweet daughter Julia, his parents Frank and Elise - who provided constant support and love throughout his life, his wife's parents Bob and Linda Payne - who became like second parents to him, his wife's brother David Payne, his wife Lauren Payne, and their four beautiful daughters, Eva, Skara, Kaiya, and Raina. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Rd. in Red Lion, PA with pastor Brian Rice officiating and reception to follow. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation at https://netrf.org/donate/. Online condolences may be offered at www.etzweilerfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York, PA 17403.
