Judy L. Grogg, 62, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side. Born May 4, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Raymond F. and Julia T. (Musick) Carmichael. She was the loving wife of Albert F. Grogg with whom she shared thirty years of marriage. In addition to her loving husband, Albert, Judy is survived by her daughter, Lauren R. Grogg; two grandchildren, Kylee and Savannah; a brother, Danny R. Carmichael and wife, Aledia of Airville, PA; and a sister, Deborah Carmichael of Virginia, nieces, Jessica Malloy, Pamela Waters, Tiffany Jones Niebauer, and Stephanie Walker, as well as many great nieces and nephews. Judy worked in crisis intervention at Northwest Middle School in Taneytown, MD, where she was the leader of the S.H.O.U.T. program. She was loved by many at the school and helped several turn their lives around. Judy was a member of C.P.I. (Crisis Prevention Institute), the A.A.R.P., and the F.O.E. of Hanover. Judy enjoyed fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, socializing, old time movies and shows, playing crazy eights, and helping others. A funeral service to celebrate and remember Judy will be held 8:00PM, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00PM, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
