Judy Lynn Leese, 58, of Hanover, PA, died July 6, 2015 at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Born February 12, 1957 in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of the late Geneva Ralls Francis and Thomas G. Francis, Jr. She was the wife of Douglas G. Leese, Sr., whom she married on January 20, 1983. Judy was a Mental Health Counselor for over 20 years serving countless families. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from UNC-Pembrooke and her Master's Degree in Psychology from UNC-Fayetteville. Judy was a loving and giving woman with eclectic interests and passions. She loved to explore new places; spend time with her family, particularly the children; relax at the beach with her legs in the ocean; putter around in her yard and home; decorate for holidays; crafting and stained glass; and animals of all kinds, including her turtles. Surviving in addition to her husband are children Shelia Leese-Roberts and husband Bradley of Stedman, NC, Lacy Kress and husband Joseph of Hanover, PA, Katelyn Leese and companion Nick DeRita of Hanover, PA, Douglas Leese, Jr. and wife Andria of Atlantic Beach, FL, and Jessica Leese of Hanover, PA; brothers Robert Francis of Fayetteville, NC, Col. Thomas Francis III and wife Anita of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren Tyler, Skylegha, Carson, Nicholas and Javian; mother-in-law Elaine Leese of Hampstead, MD; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, from 6-8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 9, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Mindy Coates. Interment will follow in Deer Park Cemetery in Smallwood.
