Julian Johnson, 89, of Westminster, Maryland passed away on January 23, 2016. Born July 4, 1926, in Maryland, he was the beloved husband of Mary Francis Johnson for 65 years. He graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown. Julian served in the Marines during the Korean War. He went to work as a foreman for Baltimore Gas and Electric and retired in 1988. He was also a member of the Stone Chapel United Methodist Church and was a former teacher of the Community Men's Bible Class of Glyndon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Douglas Johnson (Lisa) of Potomac Falls, VA, and David Johnson (Debi Frederick) of Westminster, MD; and his grandchildren Ashley Johnson, David Johnson Jr., and Sabrina Johnson. The family will receive friends on Monday February 1, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday February 2, 2016 at 11am. Interment to follow at Stone Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julian's memory to the , P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
