June Crismer Allen, age 78 of Eldersburg, died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. Born December 12, 1938 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. and Mabel Marie Frey Crismer. She was the wife of Russell Allen of Eldersburg, her husband of 57 years. June grew up on a race horse farm. She was a graduate of Ohio State University. She worked as a technical writer with Westinghouse Corporation. She then entered the real estate industry where she worked for over 40 years and in 2012 had been awarded the Realtor Emeritus award from the National Association of Realtors. June also enjoyed cats, traveling and bowling with a duck pin traveling league. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and being the family organizer. She was a very kind and generous person. Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters Lynnette Allen of Marriottsville, and Jeannette L. Allen of Eldersburg, and grandchildren Tia M. Gracey and Ward A. Gracey. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue, 10236 Baltimore National Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21042.
