June Eng Lee, age 77, passed away at St. Agnes hospital, surrounded by family on Monday, December 4, 2017. She was born on March 29, 1940 in the Bronx, New York to Bak and Ruth (Lee) Eng. June moved with her family to Baltimore and graduated from Western High School and then from The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in 1961. June married Rockwood Lee on August 29, 1960. Together, they had three sons and a daughter. June's special interests included working as a pharmacist, raising her family, and the arts of homemaking through quilting, needlework, gardening, and cooking. Ever industrious and entrepreneurial, she worked for many years as a carrier for the Baltimore Sun Paper, organized a family food truck, and in later years, became a licensed acupuncturist. June was always looking to learn more about the world whether it be by raising a flock of new chicks, traveling to Shanghai to study acupuncture, or experimenting with new kinds of cuisine. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, learning new recipes, and cultivating a variety of fruit trees, vegetables, and flowers on the family farm. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Rockwood; children, Rocky, Jason, Kathryn, and Christopher; grandchildren, Grace, Amelia, Graham, Jing, and Quincy; brothers, Terry and Fred, and was also sister to the late Sonny Eng. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:45 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, 7225 Slacks Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784. The family will greet friends at church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers and in the spirit of June's love for farming and self reliance, memorial contributions may be made to one of her favored organizations, .
