On Friday, March 16, 2018, June L. Naylor, 78, passed away at Wellspan York Hospital. She was the wife of Marvin M. Naylor. She was born on June 23, 1939 in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Herman and Gladys (Jones) Webb. June's passion was singing. During that time period, June had the pleasure of singing with country music stars such as Janie Fricke, Conway Twitty and Buck Owens. While doing all of this traveling and recording, June still maintained a full-time job at Susquehanna Metal Box in Havre de Grace, MD, where she retired after 30 years. In 1987, June switched gears from country music to focusing on southern gospel music. She would travel around to local churches and retirement communities, sharing her love of the Lord in song. She even released yet another album, in CD format, titled Songs of Praise.
