Katherine Teresa Perrera, age 82, of Sykesville, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2014, at the home of her daughter in Sykesville. Born June 26, 1932, in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late William Sutton and Alice Johnson Sutton. She was the wife of the late William Henry Perrera who died May 23, 2000. Katherine had been a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Regina Perrera Wells and Marvin Wells of Dundalk, William Anthony "Tony" and Margaret Perrera of Baltimore and Katherine Perrera Sanzone and Frank Sanzone of Sykesville, grandchildren; Frank Calabrese, III, Michael Perrera, Christopher Calabrese, Angela Perrera and Nicholas Sanzone and great-grandchildren; Carmen, Cash, Allysa, Anthony and Sophia. She was predeceased by siblings; Charles and Rose Sutton. The family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. A funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Road, Eldersburg. Interment will be on Wednesday at 11 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, Baltimore.
