Kathy Lee Sanders, 66, of Hampstead, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead.

Born March 13, 1948, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Franklin Kirkwood and Hilda Schuman Kirkwood. She was the wife of Richard Harper Sanders, her husband of 32 years, who died June 10, 2006.

She was a homemaker. Years ago, she worked as an assembler for Black & Decker. She was an artist who enjoyed painting and sketching. In her spare time, she also enjoyed crafts, her horses, her Rottweiler and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are daughters Adrienne P. Fletcher and husband James, and Corrie A. Sanders, all of Hampstead; and grandchildren Hope, Collin, Averi, Madison and Brooke.

She was predeceased by a sister, Edna Kirkwood.

A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at the Manchester Volunteer Fire Department's Activities Building, at the corner of York and Locust streets in Manchester.
