Kenneth Eugene Robertson, age 71, of Union Bridge, died Sunday, February 28, 2016 at his home. Born October 19, 1944 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Walter Washington Robertson Sr. and Gladys Louise Hesson Robertson Cook. He was the husband of Judith Ann Robertson, his wife of 52 years. Mr. Robertson attended Francis Scott Key High School. In his younger years he worked as a supervisor for Carroll Petroleum and then as a facilities manager for Shelter Systems, Westminster. He retired in 2013 as a truck driver with Shipley Transportation. He was an avid train enthusiast, also enjoying tractors, tool collecting, and spending time with his grandchildren and his pets. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter, Tracy L. Klein and husband, Brian of Union Bridge; son, Scott D. Robertson and wife, Stacy of Westminster; grandchildren, Tyler Klein and wife Amanda, Ryan Klein, Casey Klein and girlfriend Sarah Frazier, Scott Robertson II and wife Jessica, and Matthew, Hannah and Michaela Robertson; great-grandchildren, Tyler "Jake" Klein Jr., Scott D. Robertson III and Trevor Cockran; sister, Dorothy Williams and husband, Howard of Williamsport; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Walter Robertson Jr. A memorial service will be held at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6. E. Broadway, Union Bridge, on Saturday, March 5 at 12 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to defray expenses may be made to Hartzler Funeral Home, P.O.
