Kenneth S. McCawley Sr.

The Guest Book is expired.

Kenneth S. McCawley, Sr., 90, of Sykesville, affectionately known by friends and family as Mr. Kenny, Dad and Pop Pop, joined his beloved daughter and wife in eternal life on October 5, 2014. With his passing, the world loses a veteran World War II Army Medic and gains a guardian angel. After returning from the war, Ken delivered milk to the doorsteps of Baltimore City as a milkman for Cloverland Dairy. In retirement, he was an avid woodworker. Ken was ever poised to help those in need and equally as eager to cause mischief at the expense of others. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra McCawley and her husband Stan Johnson; his son, Kenneth McCawley, Jr and his wife Cindy; his son-in-law, Jerry Griswold; his grandchildren, Marcus Griswold and wife Ann; Kenneth, Kaitlin, and Kristen McCawley; and his great-grandchildren, Leif and Kai Griswold. In crossing over, he is reunited with his oldest daughter, Jackie Griswold; his wife, Emma McCawley; his brother, Robert McCawley ; and his mother, Katie McCawley. The family will receive friends Friday, 9-11 AM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Jen Glover officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to
