Kim Kelly Burden, 56, of Hampstead, died Monday October 27, 2014 at her home. Born November 17, 1957 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Tom and Jean Chumley Kelly of Reisterstown. She was the wife of Mike Burden, her husband of 35 years. She earned an associate arts degree. She was a self-employed artist. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and was a stand-up paddleboarder. She also enjoyed dancing, biking, swimming and kayaking. She was very fond of her two cats, Taz and Sophie. She loved spending time with friends and family. Surviving, in addition to her parents and husband, are sons, Daniel Burden and his wife Susan of Alexandria, Va., Brad Burden of Shady Grove, Cliff Burden and his fiancé Christa Sohl of San Marcos, Tex., Ben Burden and his fiancé Katie Geppi of Baltimore; grandson, Nick Burden of Alexandria; sister, Joy McClenaghan and her husband Patrick of Midlothian, Va.; brother, Chris Kelly and his companion Helen Myers of Bel Air; nieces, Courtney Elliott and her husband Josh of Powhatan, Va., Mackenzie Kelly of Bel Air and Anna Burden of New York, NY; nephews, Kyle McClenaghan and his companion Athena Theohris of Dallas, Tex. and Zach Kelly of Bel Air; brother-in-law, Ray Burden and his wife Pat of Reisterstown. A memorial service will be held on 11 a.m. Saturday November 1, 2014, at Salem United Methodist Church, 18217 Falls Road, Hampstead with Pastor Art Monroe officiating.
