Kimmarle Ann "Kim" Traeger, 62, of Westminster, died at her home on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Born March 26, 1952 in Jacksonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Jacob Sasscer (First Sergeant, USMC, retired) and Margaret Ross Sasscer. She was the wife of Joseph Edward Traeger, whom she married December 9, 1973. Kim had formerly worked in loss prevention at BJ's Wholesale until her retirement. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore in 1995. Kim was an avid shopper, and a gifted cook especially her peanut brittle. She had a joyous heart and was known for sending out "Love Cards" to close family and many friends. Surviving in addition to her husband is son Ryan J. Traeger of Baltimore and daughter Brittany Ann Traeger of Reston, VA; siblings Bernard J. Sasscer, Jr. of West Virginia, Bridget J. Popoli of Belair and Lisa B. Sasscer of Baltimore. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. The family requests that guests please bring photos with you to share with everyone. There will be no funeral service and interment will be private. Please omit flowers.
