Kyle Andrew Etzler, 25, of Emmitsburg, Maryland died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 27, 2014 as the result of a tragic automobile accident. Born May 12, 1989 in Westminster, he was the son of Brian and Dorothy "Dotti" Walls Etzler of Emmitsburg. Kyle was a 2007 graduate of Catoctin High School and a 2014 graduate of the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls, MA. He enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, rock climbing and photography. He was an avid fan of the movies. Kyle was passionate about everything he did and was fearless in trying new things. He admired his brother Kevin's abilities as a percussionist and he loved his dog Sally. Kyle was a loyal, devoted, and protective friend. Most importantly, Kyle asked Jesus to come into his heart at a young age and has now begun his new life in heaven for eternity! In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Kevin Etzler of Frederick; maternal grandmother, Dorothy "Dottie" Watts of Bel Air; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Roy Smith Walls, Sr; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Elizabeth Etzler. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Uniontown Bible Church, 4272 Watson Lane, Union Bridge, MD, with Pastor David Dent officiating. A private interment will be held Wednesday morning. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the church.
