Lamora Marie Longenecker, 58, of Waynesboro, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Chambersburg Hospital, after an illness of several months.

Born May 12, 1954, in Frederick, she was the daughter of Marie Anna Mae Hartsock Otto, of Waynesboro, and the late Clarence E. Otto Jr. She was the wife of Harry T. Longenecker Sr., her husband of 21 years.

She was a 1971 graduate of Walkersville High School. She was employed with English-American Tailoring Company of Westminster until 2007.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in  Union Bridge. She enjoyed going to Charles Town race track and was an avid bingo player.

Surviving, in addition to her mother and husband, are children Shane L. Dayhoff and wife Joyce, of Littlestown, Pa., Harry T. Longenecker Jr. and wife Carole Ann, of Dunnellon, Fla., Jeffrey E. Longenecker and wife Brenda, of York, Pa., and Theresa M. Bloser, of Waynesboro; sisters Martha E. Shriner and companion Jay Kennedy, of Union Bridge, and Jeanne A. Bowman and husband Jack, of Hudson, Fla.; brother Gary F. Otto and wife Barbara, of Libertytown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from noon until the time of memorial service, 2 p.m. Thursday at St. James Lutheran Church, 14 S. Benedum St., Union Bridge, with church pastor, the Rev. Richard L. Michael officiating. Inurnment will be in Mount View Cemetery in Union Bridge.
