Lamore Ellen Sullivan, 98, of Westminster, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Westminster.

Born April 1, 1914, in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late W. Scott and Etta Handley Sullivan.

She was a housekeeper. She was a longtime member of Frizzellburg Bible Church, where she served as custodian for many years, sang in the church choir, was Sunday school secretary and a member of the Ladies Aid Society. She was also a past member of the Westminster and Frizzellburg Senior Citizens, the Super 60's, the Frizzellburg Homemakers and the Westminster Rescue Mission Ladies Auxiliary.

She was a 1932 graduate of Westminster High School and for the last 11 years lived at Golden Living Center where she made many friends and liked her caregivers. She previously enjoyed going on bus trips, having meals with the Birthday Girls, playing dominoes and bingo, watching TV, especially "The Price is Right," reading books and Bible study. She was an Orioles fan.

Surviving are cousins Joan Colson, of Frizzellburg, Bill and Sofia Berwager, of Westminster, and Theda Robb, of Aliquippa, Pa.; and third cousins Robert and Denise Colson and family, of Rib Lake, Wis., Melanie and Melvin Arrington and family, of Taneytown, and Jonathan Colson, of Washington, D.C.

She was predeceased by a brother, Howard Sullivan.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Thursday at Frizzellburg Bible Church, 1905 Frizzellburg Road, Westminster, with the Rev. Andrew Reisberg officiating. Interment will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Frizzellburg Bible Church, 1905 Frizzellburg Road, Westminster, MD 21158.
