Laura Desiree Walker, 52, of Westminster, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at home.

Born Dec. 26, 1960, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Charles G. Campbell Jr., of Westminster and the late Delphine Mary Haltiner Campbell.

She worked as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Reisterstown for many years. She enjoyed time with her dogs, Sophie and Pip, and the family farm.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are children Jessica Walker, of Pennsylvania, Charles Walker and Sarah Walker, both of Westminster, and Rosemari Walker, of Delaware; step-children Angie Exum, of Tennessee and Matt Brown, of Westminster; and grandchildren Ryleigh and Charlee.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the time of memorial service, 7 p.m. Monday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. Interment will be private.
