Lawrence John "Larry" Knott, 90, of Westminster, died Monday, November 9, 2015 at his residence. Born April 2, 1925 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Sophia Knauer Knott and John Knott. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, E. Jean Knott. He served in the Army during World War II. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter Susan Meyers and companion David Mosel of Finksburg, son-in-law Gary Meyers of Westminster, grandchildren Jennifer Brockdorff and companion Scott Joyner, Ginger Angell and husband Collin, Meghan Meyers Stella and husband David, great-grandchildren Brett and Cassidy Brockdorff, Maxwell Angell and Anthony Stella, brothers Michael, George and Vincent Knott and a sister Frances Rosenberger. He was predeceased by a great-grandson Jaxson Stella. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 11 a.m. until time of memorial services; 12 noon at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
