Leo J. Kupnicki, Jr., 71, of Delray, West Virginia passed away on January 17, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Born September 27, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Dorothy H. Kupnicki (nee Whittmer) and Leo J. Kupnicki Sr. Leo served in the Army and was a mechanical engineer during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of University of Maryland College Park and worked as an independent contractor. Surviving him is his sister Joan M. Peeling and her husband Philip; his niece Wendy A. Parkent and nephew Christopher H. Peeling; and 3 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Kenneth Kupnicki. The family will receive friends on Friday January 29, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will take place during the visitation at 7pm. Interment to be private.
