Lillian King Wilhelm, 93, of Westminster, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Sunflower Hill Assisted Living. Born on March 17, 1922 in Prince Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ethel Buck King and James J. King, Sr. She was the wife of the late Arthur C. Wilhelm to whom she was married to for 54 years. Lillian was a graduate of Calvert County High School. She worked as a bank clerk for Union Trust, retiring in 1982. Lillian was a member of Ascension Episcopal Church and enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, and planting flowers. Surviving her are sons and daughters-in-law Michael A. and Terri Wilhelm of Westminster and Timothy K. and Elizabeth Wilhelm of Silver Spring; former daughter-in-law Carolyn Mooney of Winter Haven, FL; sister Laura Marchand of Port Republic; grandchildren Michael, Lucas, Christopher and Zachary Wilhelm; and great grandchildren Hailey Renee Wilhelm, Blake Michael Wilhelm, Lillian Grace "Lilly" Wilhelm, and Arthur James "A.J." Wilhelm. She was predeceased by brothers James J. King, Jr., Milton O. King, and Robert L. King and by sisters Virginia Roming, Ethel Bowen, and Helen Weber. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. The family will also receive friends on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 25 Church St., Prince Frederick, MD 20678 with Joanna White officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
