Linda Lee Kraft, 70, of Taneytown, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Born Nov. 3, 1942, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Thelma Glover Coleman, of Frizzellburg, and the late A. Royer Coleman.

She was a 1960 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge, and was active in planning reunions and the alumni association. She was a cashier for Safeway Food Stores in Westminster and Walkersville for 40 years until her retirement.

She was an active volunteer for the Emmitsburg Food Bank and the Emmitsburg Council of Churches, recently serving as treasurer. She was an active member of Tom's Creek United Methodist Church in Emmitsburg.

She enjoyed time with her dog "Dusty", and shopping.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a daughter, Cheryl Crowe, of Union Bridge; sister and brother-in-law Vickie and Tim Kyle, of Westminster; granddaughters Jamie Crowe, of Union Bridge, and Tabitha Bollinger and companion Josh Vanleeuwen, of West Virginia; four great-grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; two great-nephews; and companion and friend, of 30 years, Charlie Chenault, of Taneytown.

She was predeceased by her former spouse, Lee Kraft, who died in September.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Thursday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., with the Rev. Tim Kromer officiating. Interment will be in Westminster Cemetery.
