Linden E. Brengle, Jr., age 82, of Woodbine, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born August 3, 1935, in Ellicott City, MD he was the son of the late Linden E. and Lillian Brengle, Sr. He was the loving husband of the late Betty Jo Trent Brengle who passed away in 1998. Linden had been a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and Sunday dinners at Linda's. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Christopher A. Brengle and Jeffrey W. and Sherry Brengle; daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa M. and Michael Haney and Linda Brengle Hubbard and Robert Hubbard; brother, Thomas Brengle and sister, Barbara Jean Baker. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Linden was predeceased by son, Linden E. Brengle, III; grandson, Justin Haney and siblings, Harry N. Brengle and Betty Jean Hitchens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 5pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 9:30am. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
