Linwood F. Ward, 86, of New Windsor, died April, 7, 2015. Born April 23, 1928 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Clarence W. and Georgia Ford Ward. He was the loving husband of Betty Fisher Ward. He served in the Army during World War II from 1946-1948. He was an electrical contractor, and owned his own business, Ward Electric, Inc. Surviving in addition to his wife are children Lyn Newman of Wake Forest, NC; Robert A. Ward, of Richmond, VA; and Joanne C. Ward of Greenbelt, MD; and 3 grandsons. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service at 12 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster with Rev. Chris Suerdieck officiating. Interment will be in Lorraine Park Cemetery, Woodlawn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the , 1850 York Rd. Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
