Lou Dollenger passed away March 9, 2017 at University of MD Hospital, from complications related to congestive heart failure. Born September 10, 1951, in Baltimore, he was the beloved son of the late Louis A Dollenger Jr. and Elinor Cullom Dollenger of Westminster. He was the proud father of Derek Adam Dollenger (Kayla) of Forest Hill, MD. He was a graduate of WHS (1969) and Towson University (1975). One of the founding fathers of the Alpha Omega Lambda Fraternity, he was instrumental in establishing the Joseph Ferrante Memorial Scholarship in 1998. A long-time advocate of Towson University, he served in various roles over the years, culminating with serving on the Alumni Association Board of Directors from 1999-2013, ultimately as Vice-President and President. He loved his time at TU, whether he was fund-raising, cheering on Tiger Lacrosse, or being with his many friends and fraternity brothers at events. He worked in the professional audio and recording industry, designing sound systems for Mitsubishi Pro Audio, Maryland Sound and Nelson White Systems. He worked on the sound systems for Camden Yards, the Strathmore Concert Hall and the Hippodrome Theater as well as many other facilities in and around Maryland.
