Louise H. Fix, 84, of Marriottsville, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Homestead of Sun Valley in Sykesville.

Born March 25, 1929, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Kelleher Hoover. She was the wife of Raymond Junior Fix, who died Feb. 22, 2013.

She and her husband would have been married for 66 years. She had worked as a sales clerk for the former Hecht Company for many years.

She enjoyed sewing, crochet, shopping, wearing jewelry, watching old movies and reminiscing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and dog, Andrew.

Surviving are son Steven Fix and companion Tina Pateal, of Eldersburg; a daughter, Sharon Dale, of Marriottsville; grandchildren Nicole Fix and Steven Fix, both of Hampstead, and Courtney and Alyssa Fix, both of Eldersburg, and Michael Dale and wife Stephanie, of Union Bridge; and great-grandchildren Sienna Dale, and Sydney and Kevin King.

She was predeceased by siblings Harry and Joseph Hoover, and Katherine Craddock.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.
