Loyal Ralph Swan, 91, of Westminster, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at his home. Born April 15, 1923 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Francis and Sarah Mount Swan. He was the husband of Laura Jeanette Brown Swan, whom he married November 26, 1950. He was an appliance repairman and also a carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. As a handyman, Ralph was mechanically creative, and as a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, he was a God-fearing man, spiritual, honest and loyal to a fault. He enjoyed being with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are children and spouses Linda J. and Bill Seek of Damascus, Glen R. and Patricia Swan of Hagerstown, and David E. and Karen Swan of Williamsport, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Roscoe and Edwin Swan. Per his request, services and interment will be private. Arrangements by Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster.
