Lula Elizabeth Dillinger, 92, of Westminster, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.

Born May 6, 1920, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late George Sr. and Ethel May Wagner Welsh. She was the wife of David R. Dillinger Jr., who died in 1984.

Before retirement she worked as a secretary for Dr. Siegel, Deer Park Junior High School and the Board of Education in Cumberland. She was a member of Westminster United Methodist Church.

Surviving are son Mark R. and wife Ruth K. Dillinger, of Kingsville; siblings Maxine E. Wilson, of Westminster, and George W. Welsh Jr., of Randallstown; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, David R. Dillinger III.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial service, 11 a.m. Saturday at Carroll Lutheran Village, Krug Chapel, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, with the Rev. Jimmie L. Schwartz officiating. Interment will be private.
