Luther L. Foglesong, 90, of Hanover, Pa., died Tuesday morning, Nov. 19, 2013, at Hanover Hospital.

Born Jan 22, 1923, in Mayberry, he was the son of the late Uriah A. and Mary E. Humbert Foglesong.  He was the husband of Annie Keeney Foglesong, who died in 1979; Hazel Stitley Foglesong, who died in 1984; and of Florence Miller Foglesong, his wife of 26 years.

He was retired from farming, B&D Wood Working of Union Mills, Sealed Air Corporation of Hanover and Bowman's Feed Company of Westminster.

He was an active lifelong member of Emmanuel Baust United Church of Christ in Westminster and a Mayberry Gun Club member.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons Luther A. Foglesong and wife Vera, of Westminster, and Bill Foglesong, of Taneytown; daughter and husband Sharon Shriner and Jim, of Taneytown; step-children John Miller and wife Winnie, of Hanover, Pa., Robert Miller and wife Madeline, of Virginia, Mary Ann Bixler and husband Dave, of Abbottstown, Pa., and Christine Miller, of Lancaster, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and friends Jen Kirk and June Mummert.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Bobby Stonesifer; and a step-son, Steven Miller.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown, Pa.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Baust U.C.C., 2950 Old Taneytown Road, Westminster, with the Rev. Jeffry Dull and the Rev. James Parke officiating. Interment is in the church cemetery.
