Lynn Victor Fisher, 85, of Crisfield, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at his home. Born in Hagerstown, MD August 22, 1931, he was a son of the late Carl and Nancy Kershner Fisher. A graduate of Westminster High School class of 1948, he was an agent then operator for Western Maryland Railroad for 30 years before his retirement. Following his retirement, he was a realtor in both Westminster and Crisfield. He held memberships in numerous organizations including Somers Cove Yacht Club where he was commodore, Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044, Door to Virtue Masonic Lodge #46 AF&AM, Salisbury Moose Lodge #654, and Sons of American Legion Post #16 in Crisfield. He also was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield and enjoyed attending St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Crisfield during the summer months. A Big Band Music enthusiast, Mr. Fisher played saxophone and clarinet in the Gene Frock Dance Band in Westminster. He also loved sports, especially college basketball and football and was manager for the Westminster Little League All Star team that went on to win the Maryland State Championship. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and was a season ticket holder for the Delmarva Shorebirds baseball team. Other hobbies include boating and fishing aboard the "Blues Chaser", family camping, bicycling, bicycle salvage, repair and donation to those who were in need, reading, and collecting vinyl music records. His record collection at one time numbered in the thousands. He also enjoyed thrift shopping and even owned a Pennsylvania Flea Market for a few years in the late 70's. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jean Reid Fisher; two sons, Gary L. Fisher and wife Eve and Steven D. Fisher and wife Cindy; three granddaughters, Elisza Fisher, Becky Fisher, and Nancy Fisher; brother-in-law, Robert Reid and wife Bonnie; and nieces and nephews, Michael Reid, Robert and Christy Reid, Sandy and Frank Easterday, and Natalie and Leroy Ensor, Richard and Lisa Logue, Vicky Rill, Brian Fisher, Daryl Fisher, and Craig Fisher. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Eva "Lou" Logue and her husband Chuck; and a brother, Carl "Genie" Fisher and his wife Ruth. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. The Reverends Paul Holland and Jim Riley will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733; or St. Peter's U. M. Church, 206 W. Main Street, Crisfield, MD 21817.
