M. Jeannette Rodgers, 77, of Finksburg, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2016 at her home. Born September 2, 1938 in Carrollton, she was a daughter of the late George Monroe and Marie Catherine Hagner Taylor. She was the wife of the late Bernard James Rodgers, her husband of 30 years, who died in 1997. She had worked as a retail clerk and drug manager for Food Fair. She was a member of Patapsco United Methodist Church. She enjoyed travel, cruises and playing slots at casinos. Surviving are sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Rosemarie Nunnally of Hampstead, Nancy Louise and Charles A. Roberts of Owings Mills, Margaret Eleanor Wallace of Finksburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilson Edward and Marie Taylor of Owings Mills and Robert Lee and Linda Taylor of Finksburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, George Monroe Taylor, Jr. and Marvin Lee Taylor. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg (corner of Gamber and Bloom Roads). A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 a.m. at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Barbara Allen officiating. Interment will be in Patapsco United Methodist Cemetery, Finksburg. Memorials contributions may be sent to Patapsco United Methodist Church, c/o Pat Sisson, 731 Ridge Road, Finksburg, MD 21048.
