Marcia Lynn Bogash, 83, died peacefully on December 4th, 2017 at Dove House Hospice in Westminster, MD. Marcia was born May 26, 1934 in Baltimore, MD. the daughter of Harry and Lillian Fisher. Marcia enjoyed gardening and the outdoors, cats and dogs, taking care of her horses and her time with family. Her leadership abilities and love of acting are some of the things that she will be remembered for. She rose up through the ranks and became Chairperson of B'nai B'rith Baltimore, then did the same with the Carroll Players theater group and Carroll County Master Gardeners. She was very involved and recently honored for her work at the Charlotte's Quest Nature Center in Manchester MD. Her first career was as an X-Ray technician at several hospitals and private practices in Baltimore and Westminster MD. She then managed a urologists' practice. Marcia then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Gerontology from the University of Baltimore. She used her Gerontology degree to help convalescent home patients at several care facilities in the Hanover PA and Baltimore areas. In 1953 she married Philip Bogash also of Baltimore. They moved from Baltimore in 1971 to Westminster, MD then moved several years later to Millers, MD where she spent the remainder of her life creating extensive gardens and a boarding / riding stable. Marcia is survived by her husband, Phil Bogash; sons, Steve, Brian and Jay; daughter in laws, Roberta, Kathy and Nu; and grandchildren, Dawn, Tony, Claudia, Brian jr, Joseph, Kaitlyn, and Eliana; and great-grandchildren, Alex and Sarah. The family will be receiving guests on Saturday & Sunday December 9th & 10th at 4420 Millers Station Rd. Manchester, MD from 10AM til 4PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to Charlotte's Quest Nature Center PO Box 864, 3400 Wilhelm La. Manchester, MD. 21102
