Margaret Leura Frisby, 78, passed away at her home in Westminster on November 13, 2017. She was born on November 6, 1939 in Silver Run to the late Marcellus and Martha Alberta (Lemmon) Wentz. Margaret was the beloved wife of John T. Frisby, her loving husband of 38 years. Margaret was a foster mother and particularly enjoyed reading Amish books. She was retired from English American Tailoring and Random House in Westminster. In addition to her husband, Margaret is survived by her children, Bonita Pittinger, Matthew E. (Betty Jean) Shatzer, Trystynn C. Frisby, Jaden E. Frisby, all of Westminster, and Taylor McCourt of Florida. She also leaves a sister, Maude Weant of Harney, as well as twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by children George M. Shatzer, Jr., William E. Shatzer and Susan Pittinger, and siblings Marcellus W. Wentz, Jr. and Mary Caltrider. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster and on Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 10 a.m. until the start of the funeral services at 11 a.m. at Crosswinds Church, 640 Lucabaugh Mill Rd, Westminster with Pastor David Sulcer officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Cemetery. The family requests that donations, in Margaret's name, be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD, 21157.
