Margaret Clementine "Teeny" Mansfield, 87 of Hampstead, and formerly of Sykesville, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at her daughter's home in Hampstead. Born January 5, 1928 in Flohrville, she was the daughter of the late Clement L. and Mary L. Hobbs Dietrich. She was the wife of the late John Emory Mansfield. Teeny had been the secretary to the principal at Sykesville Middle School for more than 20 years. She loved water aerobics. She enjoyed chatting with and sending cards to family and friends. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Sherry and Wayne Hirth of Parkville, Robin and Bob Lewis of Westminster, and Bettie and John Modrak of Hampstead, grandchildren Heather Webb and her husband Alex, Jenny Dancy and her husband Zachary, Alex Modrak and her fiance Steven Byrns, and Emily Modrak, and great grandson Paul Webb. The family will receive friends at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greenmount United Methodist Church, 2001 Hanover Pike, Hampstead, MD 21074, or to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
