Marian A. Constantine, 81, of Westminster, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.

Born Sept. 7, 1931, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late David and Margaret Chenoweth Ely. She was the wife of Irvin L. "Roy" Constantine Jr., who died in 2000.

She was a graduate of the Catholic High School in Baltimore. She was a homemaker and worked as a stenographer for Bell Telephone in Baltimore, as a school cafeteria aide at Reisterstown Elementary, a cashier at a dry cleaners and as a secretary for Chesapeake Plumbing and Heating which she retired from in 1993.

She enjoyed dancing, singing, listening to music, talking on the phone, watching TV, and spending time with her family and her cat, Rascal. She also enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart and going to church.

Surviving are daughters and son-in-law Lois and Bill Witty, and Arlene Williams and companion Mark Charlebois, all of Westminster; sister and brother-in-law Tootie and Tom Kelleher, of Reisterstown; grandchildren Crystal Swem, Bryan Spicer, Heather Ayres, Daniel Ayres Jr., and Sarah Spicer; a great-granddaughter, Ella; and a great-grandson, Charlie.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy Spicer.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Catholic Church , 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Interment will follow at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
